Doors remain locked until 7:00 am.
Classes begin at 7:30 am.
Students arriving before 7:30 am will wait in the cafeteria.
Students enter the doors by the cafeteria on the west side of the building near the drive-through lanes.

OPTION 1: DRIVE THROUGH – STAY IN CAR
Turn left into lane 1 from Palo Blanco Drive (heading west)
Pull all the way forward and stop. Lane 1 is for stopping and loading only.
Parents must remain in vehicles. Staff will ask who you are picking up and bring your child to your car.
Lane 2 is only for pulling out of lane 1 and for exiting. There is NO stopping and loading in lane 2.
All vehicles will exit from lane 2 and turn onto Nuckols Crossing Road.
OPTION 2: WALK UP - PICK UP YOUR CHILD IN THE GYM
Park behind the blacktop in the lot or on the side street on Escuelita Drive.
Walk across the blacktop toward the backdoors of the gym.
Form a line to enter the gym. Stay behind the cones in the parent waiting area.
No parents should cross the cones into the student seating area.
Tell the teacher or staff member standing next to the cone and grade level sign in front of your child's line.
A staff member will bring your child to you.

The free app is available on any device with Internet access (smartphone, tablet, personal computer, iPod)—and takes less than five minutes to install. The instructions are posted on the transportation website at www.austinisd.org/transportation.

Tardies
Students miss important instruction when they are late. Students who arrive after 7:45 am will be counted tardy. After three unexcused tardies the school will send out a warning letter stating the compensatory attendance law. After ten tardies, the schools are required to investigate & file on parents through the courts.
